“TomorrowToday helped us establish a common baseline for our sustainability efforts, as well as a course and a structure for the years to come”  Lisa Isakson, Head of Communication and CSR

With a diverse and international portfolio, spanning more than a dozen companies acting in a food industry full of pitfalls, Greenfood Group ought to have a clear-cut approach to sustainability. During fall 2018, TomorrowToday helped lay the foundation for that by mapping sustainability in the different subsidiaries and determining material sustainability aspects as well as relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Based on the materiality assessment, a gap analysis was performed, pointing out the organisation’s maturity on each of the aspects identified as material. We then presented the result to the Group management team and facilitated a discussion on strategic sustainability priorities, how to fill the gaps and reasonable ambitions and timeframes.

Together with the Head of Communication and CSR, a sustainability policy was drafted that outlined the Group’s standpoints, priorities and an organisational set-up that fitted a decentralised organisation. The priorities were further detailed in a strategy, providing goals and KPIs until 2023.
